This website is operated by Graffitecs Studio FZ-LLC ("Graffitecs", "we"), a free-zone LLC registered in Dubai, UAE.
03 · Acceptable use
You can browse, link to, quote (with attribution), and share anything we publish here. You can use our case studies in your own writing about the studio. The bits you cannot do:
- Use the site to send unsolicited bulk communication to anyone.
- Try to break into systems, scrape at a rate that costs us actual money, or evade rate limits.
- Pass off our wordmark or work as your own.
- Use the site to do anything illegal under UAE law or the law of the country you're in.
04 · Content & intellectual property
All content on this website — copy, design, code, photos, logos — is © Graffitecs Studio FZ-LLC unless attributed otherwise. Editorial use (linking, quoting up to 200 words, embedding visuals in articles about us) does not require permission. Other uses, including commercial or derivative works, do — please email [email protected].
Open-source code we publish is licensed under each repo's stated licence (typically MIT or Apache-2.0) — see §5.
05 · Open source
Anything in github.com/graffitecs/* is governed by the licence file in that repository. The text of those licences supersedes anything that conflicts with them in these Terms.
06 · Newsletter ("Field Notes")
The newsletter is sent monthly. You can unsubscribe at any time from the link at the bottom of every issue. We don't send commercial pitches through it. We don't bundle, sell, or share the list with anyone, ever.
07 · Engagements (MSA)
Anything you read on this website — services, methodologies, prices — is informational. Paid engagements with the studio are governed by a Master Services Agreement (MSA) and a Statement of Work (SOW), both of which we draft, share, and sign before work begins. Where these Terms and the MSA conflict, the MSA wins for that engagement.
08 · Disclaimers
The content on this website is provided "as is". We do our best to keep it accurate and current, but we don't warrant that it's complete, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose. Open-source software we publish is provided as-is per its licence; please read it.
09 · Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Graffitecs is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from your use of this website. Our total aggregate liability under these Terms is capped at AED 1,000.
Nothing in this section limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or anything that cannot be excluded under applicable law (e.g., personal injury caused by negligence).
10 · Changes to these Terms
We update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page is the only one that matters. We'll keep prior versions on request. Material changes will be flagged at the top of the page for 60 days.
11 · Governing law & venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). Any dispute arising out of or relating to them shall be referred to the courts of the DIFC, which shall have exclusive jurisdiction. This does not affect any non-waivable consumer rights you may have under the law of your home country.
